Bellingen has undergone a startling transformation since alternative lifestylers started migrating here in the '70s. With a 'switched on' population of just 12,000, Bellingen Shire is home to an amazing range of festivals, events and creative output. There's something for everyone - Bellingen Jazz Festival, Global Carnival, Stamping Ground, Camp Creative, & the largest regional market in NSW, Bellingen Community Markets.
